What is Estimated Processing Time (EPT)?

Estimated Processing Time is the period it takes VideoGameCentral.com to pick the products ordered, then pack and ship them to you. Most orders are processed within 24-48 hours of our receiving the order, provided the products you ordered are in stock and that the billing info you have provided matches properly. Due to the relation of EXPRESS orders and internet fraud, orders are held to even higher criteria and can take up to two days to process. If you have urgent need for an EXPRESS order please call us after placing it to make sure that your info is in order to aid in processing time. Orders taken or modified after 3pm EST are not processed until the next day.

If your billing and shipping addresses are different, it will be necessary to verify your shipping address. Orders will not be shipped out until the shipping address is verified.

Note that selected large products, game chairs, import games and specialty order products will not be able to ship out within 24 hours of the order date. These products will have the specific processing time in the "Usually ships within _____" section of the product page.

Shipping couriers do not operate on weekends, so orders placed on the weekend will not be shipped until the next business day between Monday-Friday.

 

Currently VideoGameCentral processes and ships items Monday-Friday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and/or shipped the following business day. We will not be processing or shipping orders on the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

 

Please do not send us your credit card information via email.

 

What is Estimated Shipping Time (EST)?

Estimated Shipping Time is the sum of business days (M-F) it takes you to receive your order. This can be estimated by adding the Estimated Processing Time (1-2 days normally unless other factors prevail) and Estimated Shipping Time days. If the estimated date of delivery is on the weekend, you will not receive it until the next business day.

Other factors that can extend the Estimated Total Delivery time may include but are not limited to:

  • specialty products ordered
  • backordered items
  • certain methods of payment
  • shipping options
  • incorrect billing information
  • extremely high demand for a product
  • extreme weather conditions

Estimated Delivery Time is usually accurate when determined with the above formula. VGC strives to process and ship out your order promptly as possible but reserves that Estimated Total Delivery Time cannot be guaranteed.

What Shipping options does VideoGameCentral.com offer?
VideoGameCentral.com offers five easy shipping methods. The list below is a guideline for estimated shipping times. However, these times can’t be guaranteed; factors like those mentioned below may delay your delivery.

-US Value Ship (For under 13 oz. only) 5-7 Days from Processing

-Standard (4-7 Days Dependent Upon Location): Limited tracking, Most economical.

-Priority (3-4 Days-Dependent Upon Location)

-US Only:Express 1-2 Day Overnight (Delivery Method from time of Processing)

-FedEx Standard Overnight




International Shipping



In order to make the process of shipping overseas work best, please follow these simple steps...

  • Please do not combine Pre-Order items with In Stock items, especially during the busy holiday season! If you would like to pre-order merchandise, simply place a separate order for it. Placing orders for in stock merchandise with pre-order merchandise, will definitely hold up your order and will definitely lessen the chances of you receiving your order in a timely fashion. We will hold the entire order until all the items are in stock. International orders cannot be split.
  • Make sure to provide daytime contact information! This is very, very important. Sometimes we may need to verify an order, or sometimes we may need to get your approval if the shipping charge needs to be adjusted. In any case, the easier it is to contact you, the quicker we can process your order.
  • If you are paying by PayPal, you must have a verified or confirmed address! This is extremely important. If your order comes in through PayPal and it is unverified or unconfirmed, your order is immediately put on hold. We will try to verify the order but this takes time and will definitely hold up your order, sometimes for days or weeks.
  • Please note that the customer is responsible if any duties & taxes are imposed by your country at your country's border.
  • Custom fees are very common especially when ordering from the UK. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country. For more information we suggest that you contact your local customs office before ordering.
  • * Very important - If you deny the delivery of a package due to customs fees, please understand that you will be responsible for the Full Cost of shipping to your door and then back to us. So please do not refuse a delivery, it will be extremely costly.
  • Packages take 5 to 8 days to arrive at their destination (although occasionally there are hold-ups at customs which is out of our control). Shipping estimates: $38.00 for a small sized package, $48.00 for a medium sized package, and $95 for a large sized package). (Canadian packages are generally about $10.00 less). Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout and are determined by weight & destination. You can always begin the checkout process and opt not to continue with it once shipping costs are established. To do this, simply place your items in your cart and click "Checkout". Once at checkout, enter your name & address and select "Global Air Express" or "Global Priority International" delivery and hit the "apply" button. The shipping rate will be made available to you, even before you have to enter any credit card information. You can then decide to continue or not continue with your order. Please note that on rare occasions, with oversized packages, we will need to contact you for additional shipping charges. You will need to approve these costs before we ship your package. Please be aware that your order can only be shipped to the billing address of your credit card.

Aruba, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Virgin Islands (British and US).




APO / Military Adressess



Orders going to a PO Box or military address, can only be shipped via Priority Mail (Regular Delivery inside the U.S. option) and cannot be shipped via any other option. While most orders arrive in a very timely manner, shipping times cannot be guaranteed. If you live at a military address overseas, you should still choose the Priority Mail Option

Some products, such as heavy or bulky products can only be shipped by Regular Delivery w/ tracking. Some restrictions can apply.

In most cases, Express Delivery orders will be delivered the next business day (M-F). Depending on the area it is being shipped to and the products ordered, Express Delivery may take up to 2 business days to arrive. Keep in mind that the best way to get your Express package without any delays is to ship it to the correct billing address of the c-card used. Giving incorrect billing info or sending to another address will require our support staff to triple verify your order.



What are VideoGameCentral Domestic Shipping rates?

To find the exact shipping cost of an item, add the item to your shopping cart and choose the shipping option you would like to find the cost of. Shipping rates depend on size, weight and location of your ship-to address.




Split Shipped Orders and Orders that Include Preorders

If your order contains a pre-order that is not shipping for at least a week, your shipment will be split automatically and a separate shipping fee will be charged; the items will ship as they become available.

To speed up the processing and delivery time, we ship orders from multiple distribution centers in the US. Because of this, you may receive more than one package. You will not be charged extra for shipping in this situation.



When will my back ordered product be sent? Will there be any additional costs?

If your order contains a back ordered item, all available products will be sent first. The backordered item will be sent as soon as it becomes available, at no extra shipping cost. If you do not wish to wait for the item to become available, please call or email VGC as soon as possible to cancel your back order.




Order / Package Tracking

Most packages, particularly orders placed with Standard Shipping, are shipped out by USPS, with limited or no tracking service.

All other Delivery Methods will have either USPS or FedEx tracking numbers. Larger items and Higher Ticket products will be delivered only on a signature release basis to protect you from lost orders.

A shipping confirmation email is sent to you when your order ships. The tracking number and courier will be listed in the “Tracking” section of the email. Some emails may state “Tracking: Pending” or make other references without tracking. This is the process we use until we get the tracking from our warehouses that ship from outside NY. When we receive the tracking (usually within 24-48hrs) we input it immediately.



Why doesn't VideoGameCentral.com provide a tracking number on International Priority Shipments?

To save your money on international shipping and to give you, our customer new, more economical shipping options, we provide the USPS International Priority method of shipping. This method does not carry a tracking number. Customers must decide whether or not they trust their country’s postal service to deliver their shipment in a quick and safe manner.

Please note that circumstances do arise that are beyond our control, i.e. - extreme weather conditions, lost or misrouted packages due to Fedex or USPS, as well as credit card authorization problems. In these rare situations, the delivery time can be delayed a bit and expected shipping times are not guaranteed. We do everything within our control to expedite every order.






Why did I receive the product before the tracking number was made available?  

Occasionally, we ship products before tracking numbers and order statuses are loaded into our system. We try to get every game into your hands as soon as possible. To accomplish this, we sometimes use external resources that ship the product directly from the source, thereby eliminating extra handling time. Our systems are updated as soon as we get the data back from the external resource, which is sometimes well after your product has been shipped. When time is of the essence, we place the priority on getting the product to you rather than updating our records because, in the end, getting the product to you is what it is all about.






PO Box Information shipping to PO Boxes. The criteria that approve a PO Box order can delay your shipment substantially. PO Boxes that are actual billing addressess accelerate the processing. If you think these conditions can hold up your shipment, feel free to call or e-mail us to avoid unforeseen delays.






Problems with your Order



We at Videogamecentral (VGC) strive to make your buying experience pleasant, even as you wait for the product you ordered. We aim to create a trouble-free ordering environment, and we aim to provide great customer service. Unfortunately, reality throws curveballs; problems can still occur. Here are solutions to some of the more common questions and problems we receive:

VGC, what should I do if I received the wrong item(s.)
1. Contact Us for an RA Number and a sincere apology.

2. Depending on the situation, items will have to be sent back to us or we will send a return label. What must be done depends on the nature of the return.

3. If you are sending the product back through USPS:
a. Go to your local US Post Office and use USPS Media Mail to ship the items you received to Videogamecentral unless we specify otherwise.
b. Once we receive the item(s) you returned, we will exchange it for the item(s) you originally ordered and reimburse you for the return postage at the Media Mail rate unless otherwise specified.

4. If we provide you with a prepaid return shipping label: a. Place the item(s) you received in the box you originally received them in and place the prepaid shipping label on the box.
b. Drop off the package at the appropriate location, if it was a USPS, drop it off at your local post office or hand it to your local mail carrier. If it was a FedEx package, drop it off at a FedEx drop off box. These can be found at FedEx.com
c. Once we receive the item(s) you are returning, we will exchange it for the item(s) you originally ordered.


VGC, I ordered the wrong item(s) by mistake!

1. If you haven’t received a “Your order has been shipped” e-mail yet, contact Us immediately and request the changes needed for your order.
2. If your order has already been shipped, contact VGC for the proper RA number.
3. Go to your local post office and ship the item(s) you received by mistake to VideoGameCentral via USPS Media Mail.
4. Once we receive that item(s,) we will exchange it for the correct item(s.) You will be responsible for the new shipping charges/price differences. Furthermore, a restocking fee may be applied for the items you returned.

The item(s) I ordered was damaged!

Please contact Us and describe the damages done to the product and box it was received in. Based on the damage, our support team will instruct you from there.

No confirmation email received.

First check your spam folder and make sure that VideoGameCentral.com emails and Video-Game-Central.com emails are OK. If you have placed an order, please contact Us to make sure it is okay.

Sometimes there are problems with sending emails to certain Internet Service Providers such as AOL, Yahoo, etc... To insure you get your emails from VideoGameCentral, please add servicemanager@video-game-central.com to Contacts / Address book.



Received a different amount of credit than originally quoted.

Sometimes we are unable to give you the amount of credit originally quoted because the returns or trade-ins may not meet our specifications. When an item(s) does not meet our specifications, we give a fair assessment of the actual product with defects or missing parts addressed.
